Design & Artwork



All fonts must be converted to curves to avoid font substitutions.

Please include font and size if typesetting is requested.

Artwork for multi-colour imprints should be sent as a colour separated file (exceptions: digital printing).

Formats we do not accept: Word files, .gif, .jpeg (under 600dpi), Power Point.

Artwork Fees

Artwork received in the correct format will not be charged for.

Artwork not received in the correct format will attract a redrawing fee of R250. This fee will accommodate 2 further changes to the layouts, where after any additional changes will be charged for at R100 per change.

Branding cancelled after layouts have been generated will be charged for at R100 per layout completed.

Stock, Sample & Sizing


Although every effort is made to ensure the products displayed are always in in stock, we currently do not have live stock integration with our various suppliers. As a result you may find in rare circumstances that certain items are unavailable. 

To combat this, Fanport does check stock before we send out invoices, but cannot guarantee that items will be available for the full 7 days from date of invoice. Items are only confirmed once we have placed the order with our suppliers which we only do once we have received 60% of the invoice.

Should your chosen product not be in stock we do endeavour to find a similar product from other suppliers around the country at a similar price. We cannot guarantee that the price will be the same.

Sample Policy

We understand the need for our clients to have samples to see quality and sizing.

Fanport’s Sample Policy is as follows:

  • Samples are available for purchase and collection from our Cape Town office.
  • Samples must be paid for in full before they are ordered in from our suppliers.
  • Samples with an individual value of less then R 50 may not be returned for a refund or credit.
  • Samples with an individual value of R 50 or more may be returned for a refund or credit.
  • Samples must be returned in the original condition as well as the original packaging so that a refund/credit can be ensured.
  • Damage to any part of the sample or packaging will result in the samples not being a accepted for return.
  • Samples must be returned within 4 working days in order to receive a credit or refund.

Size Charts:

Size charts for all products are available on request. Please contact us and we will send you the charts and guide you through the way sizing works. 

Payment & Lead Time


All quotes and invoices are valid for 7 days only. Quotes will have to be re-issued thereafter due to fluctuations in stock and pricing.

The ordering of items and branding only commences once artwork has been approved and a minimum of 60% of full invoice has has been received in advance.

First time customers are required to pay in full in advance.

Items will only be released after the full invoice has been paid for.

Lead Times:

Fanport works on a maximum 14 day lead time on screen printing and embroidery from date of payment or proof of payment being sent and from date of artwork approval. Large orders may take longer.

For custom manufactured items and sublimation our lead time is 4 weeks.

Our Lead times exclude public holidays and courier delivery to your destination. 

Post Production


Fanport offers various courier options for unbranded and branded items. Free shipping over R1000 is available for the purchase of unbranded items placed on the website. Branded items that require shipping will be invoiced accordingly based on size and weight.

Exchanges and Returns:

Fanport understands that from time to time mistakes happen in the branding industry. Most companies force a 2% allowance for mistakes. Fanport offers our customers a 10 day return policy for mistakes due to printing or embroidery errors. 

Fanport does not accept returns or exchanges on items that have already been branded on.
